I like now.

Hello

So, I’ve finally decided to post something. Aren’t I special.

OK. Mum’s currently in ultra- organised mode. They go to Europe in three days, and they’re packing and getting us to pack and discussing stuff with the people us kids are staying with. I am so jealous. Why can’t I go to Europe?

This weekends been really busy. Saturday morning I lounged around home and tried to avoid doing my homework. About midday my cousins and their mum arrived to stay the night. That was fun, cause my (girl) cousin is a psycho and my mum and my auntie go crazy when they’re together, which is fun to watch.

Ooh, in other news, my bedroom was overrun by tiny spiders last night. Okay, slight exaggeration. There were maybe thirty and they were really small. But once we’d sprayed them all, my room stank so bad my cousin and I had to sleep in the lounge room.

We watched the start of ‘Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles’ and after a long discussion, it was settled that New York was the second one and LA is the third, and that Paul Hogan used to be on some old TV show which only my mum and auntie have ever heard of.

I got woken up in the morning by my little brother bouncing on the end of my mattress banging around in the video cupboard. Six o’clock in the morning. And he wonders why I yell at him.

I also went to my friends pool party. It was so good, we played piñata (?) and pass the parcel and try to catch the massive water bomb being thrown at your head. Because, seriously, is it really a party without pass the parcel? No, it is not.

Oh, we did pin the nose on Pooh Bear, too, and used a massive cardboard box as the blindfold. We led one of the guys off the deck, which was also fun. My nose wasn’t very accurate, though, it was more like a beard, going by the placement. Very good.
Okay. I can’t really think of anything more to say…

buh bye.

No school = boring????

by admin on January 18, 2006

Hello!!

So. I’m not entirely confident this blog’ll end up on the page, because they’ve been being pooey lately, and won’t let me post stuff.

Anyway. My cousin who lives in Maroochydoore (Sunshine Coast, 2 ½ hours drive north) came down to stay for a few days. That was fun, we went shopping, went shopping again, made ice-cream and ate ice-cream. It was Toblerone ice-cream too, so it was amazing. Mum usually only makes it for Christmas. VERY delicious.

I’m actually looking forward to going back to school on Tuesday, believe it or not. Home is getting really boring.

My brothers are amusing themselves- Harry’s been watching sports on TV continually and Jack has been building some sort of catapult, designed specifically for tennis balls and water bombs. I think I might stay away from that. It sounds quite painful.

I’m getting my hair cut tomorrow and my eyeballs checked on Monday, when the suckers (J and H, as mentioned above) are back at school. Other than that, I have nothing planned as yet.

I’m sure I’ll find something.

Like I’ve been finding stuff today, such as writing this and putting away my cousin’s mattress. Which as yet, I haven’t actually done, but I’ll get onto it in just a bit. Maybe. Actually, more than likely I’ll step over it for a week or so and put it away when someone comes to stay. Hey, it’s good to be honest.

In other news we have new neighbours. And they have a GIRL ONLY A YEAR OR TWO YOUNGER THAN ME. I mean there are two other girls that I know in my street, but when Mum decides to have a BBQ and invite the neighbours neither of them come. So I end up getting tackled by the little jerks across the road.

Sorry, that was a little bit of a speel. And I’m not sure that that (deal with it) would have made sense to anyone but me. But whatever.

A lorikeet just bounced off Mum and Dad’s bedroom window. Harry thought it was dead (via Missy, our cat) until Jack pointed out that there were no Missy-like gouges and it was not only blinking but also breathing.

After it regained consciousness, it got up and flew away. The fact that it is not the first, nor will it be the last lorikeet to smash itself headlong into that particular window makes me think that lorikeets are really not all that intelligent. Pretty, but dumb.

I’d better go put that mattress away, or rather avoid putting it away.

Tata.

Holidays

Hey,

I’m not sure what’s going on here cause I accidentally published that last blog twice, and now the computers being pooey and won’t let me delete it. But whatever.

I think my mum loves me again, because I now have books, pens and shoes. Though as my dad keeps saying, there is something of a legal and moral obligation. I prefer to think my mum loves me.

Hey, it pays to hope. (Mum, if you’re reading this, relax, I’m kidding).

So, today. Thus far I have read four chapters of ‘Great Expectations’ (I’m up to number nineteen out of fifty five. I’m dead.), made two batches of brownies, gone for a swim and eaten some of said brownie. And I also went with Mum down to the local shops and bought plain label lemonade, plain label cream and a tomato.
Yay.

How exciting.

My cousin from the Sunshine Coast is coming down today. She’s staying for a few days, which will be fun. I’ve been so bored these last few days, NOTHING to do. I’m getting bored of lazing around doing nothing. In that sense, I’m looking forward to this term. But I was already, because I reckon English will be really good this term. (Mainly because I will no longer be in a class with Year 10’s- I swear they are the most stupid people on the face of this Earth.)

So.

I think I might have to go eat some brownie.

C U later.
